Who applies, and how
The Ethiopian importer applies online through EFDA's eRIS system, filling in the product details and uploading the supplier's pro-forma invoice. The products must hold a valid EFDA registration, except under the special import permit route for exceptional situations.
EFDA reviews the application; once approved and the fee is paid, the importer can ship.
